Bob's Barn was established in 1965 by Robert & Inez Benson.

The original intent was to sell produce they raised and give Inez a chance to be outside and socialize with customers as she was handicapped and unable to get out in the winter.

They had many customers from the neighboring states of Indiana and Illinois that came year after year for peaches and apples. Inez send cards and notes to her customers keeping them updated on all the happenings.

Bob's Barn was closed for about four years due to their failing health. When they both died in 1996, the farm went to their only daughter Alinda (Lyn) and her husband Kenneth (Ken) Craig.

We reopened Bob's Barn with a lean to on the end of the old barn in 1998. Deciding we really wanted a place that customers could shop for more items and be inside, a new barn was built in the fall of 2004 and opened for business in 2005.

The new barn was well received by all and we always look forward to a new season. Our goal is to give excellent customer service and top notch produce at reasonable prices.

Over the years, we have added a wonderful line of jams, jellies, honey, salsa, pies, muffins, honey, pickled vegetables, etc., to enhance our customers selections.

We invite you to shop with us in Michigan's Great Southwest!
